Since childhood, the piano has always accompanied me. I applied in Weimar for both degree programs – composition and piano – and ultimately continued with composition as my main focus. Looking back, this was a key moment in my artistic development. Piano, however, remains my main instrument and continues to be a central part of my work.
Today, my pianistic focus lies in improvisation. For me, it is a form of presence: listening, responding, creating – in the moment. What emerges often feels like a musical diary: personal, spontaneous, immediate. I share some of these moments here in short recordings.
